2 c. granulated sugar
5 tsp. unsweetened cocoa
1 stick butter
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. quick cooking oatmeal, (not instant)

In heavy 3 quart saucepan put in first 5 ingredients. Cook and stir constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Continue to boil for 6 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from stove, add oatmeal. Immediately drop by teaspoon on waxed paper.
