SAUSAGE STRATA 
6 slices enriched white bread (Pepperidge Farm type)
1 lb. bulk pork sausage
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1/2 lb. shredded processed Swiss cheese
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/4 c. milk
3/4 c. half & half
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Dash of nutmeg
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Trim crust from bread. Fit bread in bottom of greased 10 x 6 x 1 1/2 inch glass baking pan. Brown sausage, drain off fat. Stir in mustard and spoon sausage evenly over bread. Sprinkle with cheese. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-35 minutes or until puffed and set. Serves 6-8.
