SAUSAGE-TOPPED STRATA | |
12 slices white bread, crusts removed and cubed 3 lb. bulk sausage, partially cooked 1 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated 8 eggs 3 c. milk 1 tsp. salt Place half of the bread cubes in an even layer in a greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Sprinkle half of the cheese and sausage over. Repeat layer. Beat together eggs, milk and salt. Pour over ingredients in baking dish. Chill 1 hour or overnight. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until puffed and brown. Makes 8 servings. |
