ITALIAN SALAD BOWL 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. lime flavored gelatin
1/2 of 0.6 oz. env. Zesty Italian dressing mix
1 1/2 c. boiling water
2 c. cold water
1/4 c. vinegar
Curly endive
1 c. chopped iceburg lettuce
1 c. quartered, thin sliced cucumber
1/8 c. chopped green onion
1/3 c. chopped celery
1/3 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. shredded carrot
1 clove garlic, chopped

In a bowl, combine gelatin and salad dressing mix. Add boiling water, stirring to dissolve gelatin. Stir in cold water and vinegar. Chill until partially set.

Fold chopped lettuce, cucumber, carrot, green onion, celery, green pepper and garlic into gelatin. Pour mixture into 5 1/2 cup mold. Chill until firm. To serve, unmold and garnish with curly endive, if desired. Serves 8.
