DUTCH MEAT LOAF 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 c. fresh bread crumbs
1 med. size onion, chopped
1/2 can tomato sauce
1 egg, beaten
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Lightly mix above ingredients, form into loaf. Place in shallow pan in moderate oven at 350 degrees. While it is starting to bake, combine the following to make a "sweet and sour" sauce that's out of this world.

1 c. water
1/2 can tomato sauce
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 tbsp. brown sugar or molasses
2 tbsp. vinegar

Mix well and pour over meat loaf in oven; continue baking for 1 1/2 hours longer, basting occasionally. Serves 6.
