BUCKWHEAT CAKES | |
1 3/4 c. buckwheat flour 1/2 c. white flour 2 c. lukewarm water 1/2 tsp. salt 1 pkg. dry yeast 1 tbsp. molasses 1/2 tsp. baking soda Dissolve yeast in a little warm water. Mix with flour, salt and buckwheat flour to make a thin batter. Let rise overnight. In the morning, add soda, molasses and 1 1/2 tsp. melted butter or oil. |
