I make this a lot. Make sure you use frozen broccoli like it says, not fresh. I do not use butter, but I do add ritz crackers. I break some up into the mix and I also put them on top with more cheese. You can use cream of broccoli or cream of mush. soups too.

So far I have fixed this casserole two times...first time was as something NEW/DIFFERENT and the second time requested by my 10 year old....this went over very well with the family....only difference I made was..using Broccoli Melody mix (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots) and cream of mushroom soup)....I really enjoy making this for the family and eating it as well....Thanks Tasha W....what else you got?/lol

Just wondering if the temperature should be 450, I cooked at 450 and it was done too quickly. I had only cooked it approximately 45 minutes; had I cooked it longer it would have been burnt.

Awesome! Big hit with the Hubby! Short cut was to purchase an already cooked chicken at a grocer. Will most definitely make it again.

I have been eating this since I was little. My aunt that makes it adds sliced water chestnuts and 1/2 cup of chopped onion with Ritz crackers on top. It is delicious that way!
