TOLL HOUSE PIE | |
1 pie shell 2 eggs 1/2 c. plain flour 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. brown sugar 2 sticks butter 1 (6 oz.) bag chocolate chips 2 c. chopped pecans Use a prepared frozen pie crust. Melt butter in pan and set aside to cool. Break eggs into a bowl and beat slightly. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs, then butter, and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Pour in unbaked pie shell. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes. Pie should be golden brown, but will be somewhat soft in the center. Cool and serve topped with vanilla ice cream. |
