STREUSEL FILLED COFFEE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. Crisco
1 egg, beaten well
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift dry ingredients. Cut in Crisco. Beat in egg mixed with milk. Add vanilla. Pour 1/2 batter into greased 9 inch pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the filling. Add rest of batter and sprinkle again. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

FILLING:

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. nuts
2 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. melted butter
2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix all together. (Can be doubled if so desired.)
