CHEERIO NUGGETS 
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
6 c. Cheerios
1 c. pecans
1 c. raisins

Melt butter. Add brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Heat on medium until bubbly, stirring occasionally. Heat 2 minutes more, remove from heat and stir in baking soda. Mix until foamy and light colored.

In large bowl, combine cereal, raisins and pecans. Pour syrup mixture over cereal mixture. Stir to coat all pieces. Pour into greased pan. Bake 15 minutes at 250 degrees. Stir. Let cool 10 minutes. Loosen mixture and let stand until firm. Break into bite-sized pieces. Store covered.
