7 c. cucumbers, sliced thin 1 c. chopped onion Cover above 2 ingredients with water; add generous amount of salt. Let set for 1 hour. Drain. Mix 2 cups sugar, 1 cup cider vinegar, and celery seed to taste. Stir above well; add onion. Refrigerate overnight. Next morning, stir well; place in containers. Freeze for at least a week before using. |
