RHUBARB CUSTARD PIE 
2 c. rhubarb
2 tbsp. flour
3/4 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1/2 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. almond flavoring
3 egg whites
6 tbsp. sugar

Cut rhubarb in small pieces. Mix flour and sugar together. Beat egg yolks slightly and add salt, milk and flavoring. Add to flour mixture and fold in rhubarb. Put rhubarb mixture in unbaked pie shell and bake 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees and bake until set. When cooled cover with meringue made with the beaten egg whites and sugar.
