GINGER BREAD BOYS 
2/3 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 beaten egg
1/4 c. light molasses
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cloves

Cream shortening, sugar, egg and molasses. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Chill in refrigerator until dough is stiff. Roll and cut into shapes. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or until cookies start to flatten.
