ROMAN HOLIDAY | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/2 lb. hot Italian sausage (4 to 5), cut in 1/2 inch slice, remove skin 1 c. chopped onion 1 c. water 2 tsp. oregano 1 can cheddar cheese soup 1 can tomato soup 4 c. cooked wide noodles (5 to 6 uncooked) 4 slices cheddar cheese (cut in half diagonally) Brown beef and sausage in onion and oregano until done. Stir to separate meat and pour off extra. Add soups and water. Chill overnight in casserole. Cook noodles and chill overnight. Combine and pour into 12 x 8 x 2 inch pan (2 quart). Place in cold oven. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes. Stir and top with cheese. Bake until cheese melts. |
