VAL'S CHICKEN CRESCENTS 
4 cups cooked chicken breasts, diced
1 pkg. Philly cream cheese softened
1 small can of mushroom diced
1 tbsp. chives
salt and pepper, to taste
1 pkg. Crescent rolls
1 egg
splash of milk
seasoned bread crumbs

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a large bowl, mix first 5 ingredients.

In a medium bowl, whisk together egg and milk. In another medium bowl, pour in 1 inch of breadcrumbs. Open Crescents and separate into triangles. Gently stretch out Crescent with the large end nearest to you.

Place a generous spoonful of chicken mixture on the crescent. You can pretty much judge the size to use to make up 8 rolls. Fold edges in and stretch to seal them. Roll up, large end to pointy end and seal edges. Coat with egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumbs.

Place in ungreased baking dish or on a cookie sheet and bake until golden brown.

I always serve this with mashed potatoes, corn, and chicken gravy. YUMMY!
