JULIE'S CRISPY FRIED CHICKEN STRIPS | |
We like to dip ours in Ranch dressing or barbecue sauce. 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts 1 cup Ranch dressing (HIDDEN VALLEY®) 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup crushed corn flakes 1 tsp. parsley 1 tsp. onion powder 1 tsp. garlic powder salt and pepper, to taste oil (for deep frying) Trim excess fat off of chicken breasts and cut into 1/2-inch slices on the diagonal. Place in bowl and add Ranch dressing. Marinate for at least 4 hours, overnight is best. Combine remaining ingredients except for oil in a gallon size Ziploc bag. Place 5-6 strips into bag and coat with dry mixture, do this until all chicken is coated. Heat oil to 350°F and place chicken in hot oil, fry until they are golden brown and float. Tip: Place in warm oven until all is done and you are ready to serve. Submitted by: Julie S. |
