TOSSED SPINACH & BACON SALAD 
2 lbs. fresh spinach
2 heads red leaf lettuce
1/2 lb. bacon

Wash greens and add crisp bacon.

Combine: 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 tbsp. onion juice 1/3 c. cider vinegar 1 c. salad oil

Shake well, add 1 tablespoon poppy seed, shake again. Toss salad with half of the dressing, add 1 1/2 cups large curd cottage cheese to remaining dressing, add to salad and toss again. Can make dressing separately and add to greens as desired. Serves at least 8.
