CREAM CHEESE FROSTING 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 to 2 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. milk
1 (1 lb.) box confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

Beat all ingredients in mixer and spread on cooled cake.
