STRAWBERRY MOLD | |
1 pkg. strawberry Jell-O 1 c. boiling water 1 pkg. frozen strawberries 1 pkg. strawberry-banana Jell-O 1 c. boiling water 1 sm. can crushed pineapple 2 bananas, sliced 1/2 pt. sour cream 1/2 c. pecans, chopped Mix strawberry Jell-O with 1 cup boiling water; add strawberries. Place in mold and allow to set. Combine sliced bananas, nuts and sour cream. When first mixture is set, spoon second mixture evenly over first layer. Mix strawberry-banana Jell-O, 1 cup boiling water and crushed pineapple with juice. Mix well with container in bowl of ice to cool mixture. When partially set, pour evenly over banana, nut, sour cream layer. Return to refrigerator to set. Garnish plate with pineapple and sliced strawberries. Serves 10 to 12. |
