STRAWBERRIES IN SNOW 
2 c. strawberries
2 tbsp. Kirsch
1/2 c. sugar
4 egg whites
1 c. cream

Slice strawberries and sprinkle with sugar and Kirsch. Allow to macerate for 15 minutes. Beat egg whites stiffly and then continue to beat adding remaining sugar. Whip cream stiffly. Fold the egg whites into the cream and then gently and carefully mix with the macerated strawberries. Spoon into a large bowl or individual dishes. Serve chilled.
