STRAWBERRY CRUMBLE 
4 1/2 tbsp. butter (cut into small pieces)
1 (20 oz.) thawed whole strawberries
3/4 c. slivered almonds
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
pinch ground cinnamon
pinch ground nutmeg
3/4 c. unseasoned bread crumbs

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking dish with 1/2 teaspoon butter. Drain strawberries thoroughly. Put almonds, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in processor or blender and chop roughly. Pour into medium-size bowl and stir in bread crumbs. Put strawberries and 1/2 cup of dry mixture in prepared baking dish and mix lightly. Add remaining butter to remaining dry mixture and blend gently. Spread evenly over strawberries. Bake 20 minutes. Remove from oven and if desired, place under broiler to brown crust about 3 minutes. Allow to stand 5 to 10 minutes before serving. Serves 4.
