Nested vermicelli, 4 to 5 1/3 c. shortening 1/2 onion, chopped Garlic salt to taste 1 can chicken broth 4 oz. tomato sauce Brown vermicelli in heated shortening, turning to brown both sides. Add the chicken broth, onion, garlic salt and tomato sauce. Cook until vermicelli is done to desired tenderness. Add more chicken broth or a little water if necessary. Serves 4. |
