CUSTARD ICE CREAM 
2 eggs
2 c. milk, scalded
6 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. evaporated milk or cream

Beat eggs until yolks and whites are blended, add sugar and salt; mix well. Add milk slowly, stirring constantly. Cook over hot water, until mixture coats a spoon. Remove from heat at once; chill. Add flavoring and evaporated milk or cream. Freeze. Makes 8 servings.
