SUPREME BROWNIES 
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 pkg. caramels
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chocolate chips

Melt caramels and 1/3 cup milk; set aside. Mix cake mix, butter and 1/3 cup milk and nuts. Put 1/2 batter in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes.

Sprinkle with chips; pour caramel mixture on top; and top with remaining 1/2 cake batter. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes longer.
