2 eggs
1 pkg. raisins
1 1/2 c. nut meats
2 cans applesauce or 4 c. cooked, dried, or fresh unsweetened apples
2 c. sugar
4 c. plain flour
1 c. butter or shortening
4 tbsp. apple juice or other fruit juice
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. salt

Cream by hand the eggs, raisins, nut meats, applesauce or apples, sugar, flour, butter or shortening, and apple or other fruit juice. Add remaining ingredients. Line a tube pan. Bake about 1 hour and 15 minutes at 325 degrees.
