GINGER FROSTED CREAMS 
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. molasses
1 egg
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. baking soda in 1/2 c. hot water
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
Pinch salt

Mix and spread thin in pans. Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Cover with Butter Icing.

BUTTER ICING:

2 1/2 tbsp. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar, sifted
1 1/2 tbsp. cream
3/4 tsp. vanilla
