LEMON SNOWBALLS 
1/2 c. softened butter
1 c. flour
1/4 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. grated lemon rind
2 tbsp. lemon juice

Mix flour, butter, and powdered sugar. Press into buttered 8 inch square baking dish, making edges higher. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Beat remaining ingredients until lightly and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Pour over hot crust. Bake until no indentation remains when lightly touched, at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Sift powdered sugar over top. Cool and cut into squares.
