SAUERKRAUT SALAD 
1 qt. sauerkraut
1 c. diced celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. salad oil
1/4 c. green & red pepper, chopped

Put all ingredients together, leaving the juice on the sauerkraut. Cook until tender, about 35-40 minutes. Cool and serve. Serves 5-6.
