PECAN PIE BARS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 tbsp. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
2 tsp. butter, melted
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix flour and brown sugar; cut in butter. Pat into ungreased 11 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Beat eggs slightly; stir in remaining ingredients. Pour over baked layer. Cool slightly; cut into bars. Makes 32. Bake second time for 25 minutes.
