1 c. shortening
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tbsp. milk
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine shortening, salt and peanut butter. Mix well. Add sugars gradually mixing thoroughly. Add beaten eggs and milk, mixing well. Sift flour with soda and add to first mixture, blending well.

Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Press lightly with fork. Bake 15 to 20 minutes in 325 degree oven.
