1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
2 c. peanut butter
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheets. Cream shortening and sugar. Add peanut butter and eggs. Add dry ingredients and vanilla. Roll into small balls, place on cookie sheet and mash with fork. Bake 10 minutes. Makes 5 dozen.
