TEXAS HOT DOG SAUCE 
Cover and boil 2 pounds ground beef until separate and red color is gone. Drain. Saute 4 cups finely chopped onion until tender. Add 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder; 5 tablespoons paprika; 2 1/2 tablespoons chili powder; 2 teaspoons pepper; 3 teaspoons salt and 1 small 4 ounce can tomato juice. Cook a few more minutes, allowing flavor to permeate. Serve on hot dogs. (Onions need not be cooked if you tolerate raw onions).
