POTLUCK POTATO CASSEROLE 
2 lb. bag frozen hash browns
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. melted butter
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. chopped onion
1 pt. sour cream
2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
2 c. crushed corn flakes, mixed with 1/4 c. melted butter

Mix potatoes, soup, butter, salt and pepper, onion, sour cream, and cheese. Put mixture in buttered 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Top with corn flakes mixed with butter. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. If you want to serve only half the recipe, use 2 smaller dishes and freeze one. When frozen, remove from freezer 20 minutes before baking. Full recipe serves 12 to 15.
