12 thin slices white bread 8 slices bacon, cooked, drained & crumbled 2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened 12 asparagus spears, cooked & cooled Melted butter Trim crusts from bread; roll with rolling pin to flatten slightly. Blend bacon bits with cream cheese and spread mixture on bread slices. Lay one cooled asparagus spear on each slice of bread and roll up. Place on baking sheet, seam side down. Cover and refrigerate until serving time. Brush with melted butter and toast at 350 degrees for about 15 to 18 minutes. Serve hot. |
