SPAGHETTI PIE 
6 oz. spaghetti
2 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
2 well beaten eggs
1 lb. ground beef or sausage
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green peppers
1 (16 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 c. cottage cheese
1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Cook and drain spaghetti. Add butter, Parmesan cheese, and eggs to cooked spaghetti. Spread spaghetti mixture to form a "crust" in a greased 10 inch pie plate. Brown beef or sausage, onion, and green peppers in a skillet. Drain; add salt and pepper to taste. Stir in spaghetti sauce and tomato paste; heat thoroughly. Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti crust. Top with meat mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Sprinkle Mozzarella cheese on top. Return to oven and bake 5 to 10 minutes longer or until cheese melts. Let set a few minutes before serving. Makes 6 servings.
