MERINGUE COOKIES 
2 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. chocolate chips
Pinch salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat whites until foamy. Gradually add sugar. Beat until very stiff. Add other ingredients. Mix well. Drop by teaspoons on foil covered cookie sheet. Put in oven. Turn off AT ONCE. Leave at least 2 hours or overnight. Makes 24 cookies.
