APPLE-CELERY FRUIT SALAD 
1 c. of sugar
1 c. of water
1 hickory-nut sized pat of butter
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. vinegar

Boil all of the above until it thickens. 1 c. of pineapple chunks 2 c. of white or purple grapes 1 c. of celery 2 c. of apple chunks
