APRICOT BREAD 
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. sugar

Prepare bread loaf pan, grease and flour. Beat 1 egg. Add 1 cup milk and 2 tablespoons melted shortening. Make well in dry ingredients, add liquid and beat until dampened. Then add 1 cup cut up dried apricots and 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Let batter stand in pan for 20 minutes before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
