NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST | |
4 c. flour 1 tbsp. sugar 1 3/4 c. shortening 1 tbsp. vinegar 1 lg. egg 1/2 c. water Mix flour, sugar, and salt. Blend shortening. Beat water, egg, and vinegar with fork. Combine mixtures; mix well. Chill 1/2 hour in 5 portions. Makes 2 double and 1 crust pies. Dough will keep 3 days in refrigerator. Can be frozen. |
