"NEVER-FAIL" PIE CRUST 
4 c. flour
1 2/3 - 2 c. lard (Crisco)
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. water
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp. vinegar

Mix dry ingredients and cut Crisco into dry ingredients. Mix together water, vinegar, and egg. Add to first mixture, stir together until mixed. Makes enough for 3 double pies.
