SWEET AND SOUR SPARERIBS | |
3 to 4 pounds pork spareribs 1/4 cup vinegar 3 tablespoons soy sauce 1 teaspoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon pepper 4 tablespoons flour 2 tablespoons oil Cut ribs into serving size pieces. Add vinegar and water to cover. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer one hour. Drain. Combine soy sauce, sugar, and pepper to make a marinade. Pour over the ribs, turning frequently to coat each piece. Remove ribs from pot, shake in a brown paper bag with flour. Brown ribs with oil in a skillet. Place in a casserole dish. Pour over with sweet and sour sauce. Bake in a 350°F oven for 30 minutes. Serve with rice. Submitted by: CM |
