1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs
2 c. applesauce
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. cocoa

Cream sugar, eggs, and oil, add applesauce. Mix in the rest of the ingredients. Pour batter in greased 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle with 1 cup chocolate chips. (I prefer mini chips). Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. When cooled drizzle with vanilla icing.
