MAZIN' RAISIN CAKE 
3 c. unsifted flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 c. mayonnaise
1/3 c. milk
2 eggs
3 c. coarsely chopped apples
1 c. raisins
1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
1 c. heavy or whipped cream, whipped

Grease and flour 2 (9-inch) layer cake pans. In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and cloves. Add mayonnaise, milk and eggs. Beat at low speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl frequently. Batter will be thick.

With spoon, stir in apples, raisins and nuts. Spoon into pans. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans 10 minutes. Remove; cool on racks. Fill and frost with whipped cream. Makes 12 servings.
