BROILED SHRIMP IN SHELL 
18 lg. shrimp
1 tsp. salt
3 cloves garlic, mashed
1/2 c. oil
1/4 c. butter
2 tbsp. parsley
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. paprika

Split unshelled raw shrimp throughout lengthwise with a sharp knife or kitchen shears. Remove sand vein. Melt butter, stir in oil, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper and paprika. Dip shrimp in sauce and place shell down in single layer in broiler pan. Pour remaining sauce over shrimp. Broil 5" from heat for 12 to 15 minutes until done. Place on heated platter and pour sauce over shrimp.
