1 pkg. white cake mix
1 1/4 c. rolled oats
1 egg
1/2 c. butter
1 can cherry pie filling
1/4 c. packed brown sugar

Combine cake mix, 6 tablespoons butter and 1 cup oats. Mix until crumbly. Save 1 cup crumbs for top. To remaining crumbs add egg and mix well. Press into pan. Pour pie mix on and spread to cover. Add to remaining crumbs saved out, 1/4 cup oats, 2 tablespoons butter and brown sugar. Mix well. Sprinkle over pie mix. Cool completely before cutting in squares or bars. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes in greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
