GREEN PEPPER STEAK
Cornstarch
1 round steak (cut in thin strips)
1/4 c. Crisco oil
2-3 med. onions (cut in strips)
5-6 green peppers (cut into nice size pieces)
3 tbsp. soy sauce
3 c. beef broth (made from bouillon cubes)
1 tsp. garlic salt
Flour

Cut steak into strips, roll in flour, brown in skillet in 1/4 cup of oil. Add onions stirring until onions are slightly cooked. Then add the green peppers, stir until green peppers are about tender crisp. Add beef broth, garlic salt, salt and pepper.

Bring to a boil, then add 2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed into 1/4 cup water. Reduce temperature and stir frequently until all blended together. If too thick, add water to desired consistency. Serve over a bed of rice or Chinese noodles.

Optional: Can add tomatoes if desired or water chestnuts, bean sprouts and bamboo shoots.
