CORN CHOWDER SOUP 
1 lb. bacon, finely chopped
2 tbsp. onion, minced
1 c. boiling water
2 potatoes, finely diced
3 stalks celery, finely chopped
3 carrots, finely chopped
2 c. cream corn
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper

Saute in large kettle the bacon and minced onion until crisp. Add potatoes, boiling water, carrots and celery. Cook until potatoes are tender (10 minutes). Just before serving add cream corn, milk, salt and pepper. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally. Serve immediately.
