3 lb. roast beef
1 c. brown sugar
12 oz. beer
4 tbsp. sweet basil
1 c. ketchup

Take fork and poke holes all over roast. Stir brown sugar and sweet basil in beer, then add ketchup. Stir until diluted. Pour over top of roast. Cover, bake in slow 300 degree oven, approximately 3 hours. Check according to your oven.
