ITALIAN BEEF 
5-7 lb. roast or round steak
2-3 c. water
2-3 beef bouillon cubes
1 green pepper

(Blended with water.)

1 tsp. anise seeds
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. hot sauce
2 tbsp. Worcestershire
Garlic powder
Salt and pepper

Cook beef at 250 degrees until done. Combine ingredients to make sauce. Let meat stand in sauce overnight. Then simmer in crock pot or pan until tender. I serve mine on hard rolls.
