CHINESE DUCK SAUCE 
Keeps quite a while due to the vinegar.

1/2 cup apricot preserves
1/2 cup plum jelly
3 tbsp. vinegar (may use any kind)
dash of 5 spice powder (may omit if unavailable)
1/4 tsp. grated or powdered ginger
1 small clove minced garlic
1 tsp. soy sauce

Mix all ingredients and whisk til combined. Store in refrigerator.
